Listed below are a few examples of the housing projects we have worked on:

• For one major city, FaegreBD Consulting helped secure a $5 million grant from HUD to help fund a project that created an innovative home renovation and homeownership program in a blighted, largely abandoned neighborhood. The award-winning project has strengthened and improved the neighborhood and helped more than 400 families become homeowners.
• Through the 1990s, two Section 8 projects had become centers of crime and drug trade. The two properties had more police calls than any other properties in the area. FaegreBD Consulting worked with HUD to have the absentee owner disbarred from the Section 8 program and to have the building transferred to the city for redevelopment on a non-cost basis. Today the properties are successful rental communities that help anchor the north side of a thriving downtown.
